GSPM is present not only in the automotive industry, one of GSPM branches relates to the Mexican passenger buses industry. Mexico´s heavy vehicle sector principally consists of tractor-trailers, specialty commercial vehicles, and passenger buses. Passenger bus production represents the longest manufacturing tradition in Mexico, with manufacturing facilities across the country. Leading firms are Volvo Autobuses, Dina Camiones, Mercedes-Benz Autobuses, Scania Autobuses, MAN Latin America, Grupo Autofin, Isuzu Motors Mexico, Hino Motor Sales, American Coach Mexico, Irizar Mexico, Beccar, Autopartes y Componentes AYCO and REMCO. Major export markets for buses manufactured in Mexico include Guatemala, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and South Africa. Being in Mexico, passengers buses, the main society transportation mean, the national production of passenger buses is mainly held locally. Due to this, the industry requires a great quantity of imported autoparts and design services. 

ASEL (Arneses y sistemas electricos) is a company dedicated to passenger buses electric design and manufacture, mostly used to enhance the main electrical functions of the bus operation.
